Let's review what Mike Ruppert stated as his personally held belief at

Remember that Ruppert published this only in response to the public walloping that he received over his infamous article supporting the official story of the WTC collapses. That walloping took place in retaliation for the attack launched via email by Ruppert and Levis on a large body of S11 evidence.

So before looking at Ruppert's statement of his personally held beliefs, lets look at some of what he and Levis had been rubbishing only weeks before. These points are extracted directly from the Levis email, so heartily endorsed by Ruppert.

In other words do nothing but attack no plane scenarios as outrageous "French conspiracy theories" and ask the govt to give us more info.

When the debate hotted up, lets have a look at few things Ruppert himself wrote on Oct 7 2003 in support of Levis.

And here's what he wrote on Oct 10 in relation to WTC 7

"the moment that I see that putting that issue on the table -- from a starting line two years behind the other issues we have fought for and advanced -- to a significant degree jeopardizes discussion of the issues that are already out there I will oppose it for purely strategic reasons not because I feel it has no merit."

Note that he threatens to oppose even something which concedes has some merit.

OK, that was what Ruppert was putting forward as his views, when he was still swaggering around like king of the dung heap before he got sat on his backside over his infamous "melting steel" article which also contained the pearler about "my ex-wife Mary" and the fictitious reference to a non existent document containing an "expert opinion" about the WTC collapse.

Heh! It seems that quite suddenly his views changed radically when he was forced to publish his apology for the melting steel debacle. From the article linked at the top of the mail.

"I don't for a minute believe that an airliner hit the Pentagon. And no one has ever seen a video of an airliner hitting the Pentagon because there isn't one. It doesn't look like the WTC towers collapsed because of the impacts and the way that they collapsed doesn't make sense... The historical corollary to JFK's front-to-back motion is the collapse of WTC Building 7, which was not struck by an aircraft at all, and yet it collapsed faster than gravity would permit---and perfectly within its own footprint...

I don't buy any part of the government's story....

What I believe is that on September 11th, many of the alleged hijackers were likely not even aboard the planes, and that it is possible that they were flown via (existing and well-documented) remote control technology. I believe that none of the alleged hijackers had acquired the proficiency required to perform the complicated maneuvers used. I do not accept the government's version of the collapses of the towers and WTC 7, and I believe that those collapses were caused by artificial means other than the aircraft collisions. The fact that there are credible mainstream reports showing that many of the 19 hijackers are still alive leads me to question the government's account further."

So in fact he knew all along that he defending complete bullshit in this thundering sermon. He just had to dragged over red hot steel to be forced to admit it a few weeks later.

And then after he had admitted it, said that he would go on lying anyway, because it meant that his stuff would get read by people who matter.

And then said that he would only continue to lie about physical evidence, whereas we've established that he's equally prepared to lie about evidence of a documentation nature.

Oh what a tangled web we weave !
